Students received an order form for their ensemble shirt. Shirts are $15. The order form and money are due Wednesday, October 1. Every student must have a shirt in order to perform. Students must also have black bottoms and black shoes as a part of their uniform. Black bottoms include nice pants, black skirts, and black capris. Students will not be allowed to wear sweat pants, shorts, or leggings without a skirt over them.
The chorus and instrumental ensemble will join forces to sing at the Freedom Walk during the school-wide assembly on Thursday, September 25. K-2 will have their walk/parade from 12:15-12:45. The school-wide assembly will be from 1:00-1:45, and 3-5 will have their walk/parade from 2:00-2:30. Students should wear whatever their homeroom teacher requires. Otherwise, they should wear red, white, or blue. If you wish to attend the performance/assembly, please arrive early for parking.
Parents,
A welcome letter went home with your students today. Please ask your student about it. There is a bottom portion that should be filled out and returned. I am requesting your emails and phone numbers so I can better communicate with you. Also, I want to start offering either before or after school rehearsals on Thursday. These rehearsals will be optional but strongly encouraged. The form will give a place to mark your preference for mornings and afternoons. Rehearsals will NOT start until all forms are returned and you receive further directions from me. Chorus/Instrumental Performance
